Meet Ryan, the creator of Rim Saver. He’s been racing downhill since he was 14 and has nearly a decade of engineering experience in the mountain bike industry. He’s played a key role in developing multiple World Cup-winning bikes, including leading the engineering of the latest GT Fury (click me).

Ryan wanted to keep his rims and tires running longer so he wouldn’t have to work on his bike as much. But nothing on the market solved the problem the way he wanted.

"I just want a bottom-out bumper for my rim. I want my tire sidewall to absorb terrain for maximum grip. I don’t need or want anything else, and it has to be easy to use so I’ll actually use it."
