Meet Ryan
*He's probably the person who assembled your Rim Saver
Ryan has been racing downhill mountain bikes since he was 14. He even tried to qualify at a world cup (he didn’t). With nearly a decade of engineering experience in the mountain bike industry, Ryan has been a key player in developing multiple World Cup-winning bikes, including being the lead engineer on the latest GT Fury. He's learned a lot about product development with amazing people on amazing teams.
Tired of pinch flats and broken rims, Ryan set out to make something better. Traditional tire inserts are cumbersome and inconvenient, so he combined his college mountain bike bead lock design with his experience from an internship at SRAM, where he designed a mountain bike wheel impact test machine. This led to the creation of Rim Saver.
Ryan's unique background—being a rider frustrated with rim and tire failures and designing world-class mountain bikes—makes him the perfect person to address these challenges. His goal is to simplify bike ownership, making mountain biking more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
TLDR: He wants to work on his bike less so he can ride it more.
